Did you know...?

The penguins have four layers of feathers to keep them warm and the outer layer is made of a fatty waterproof substance

Entering through the tunnel of ice, you reach an extraordinary replica of the Antarctic habitat which produces the temperatures and light necessary for our four species of penguins: the Gento, the King, the Rockhopper and the Chinstaps. In the Antarctic, these marine birds form colonies of hundreds of thousands to take advantage of the enormous amounts of fish that arrive every spring to the polar ecosystems. Unfortunately this wealth is seriously threatened by changes in ocean circulation provoked by climate change.
