Did you know...?

If you've ever wondered the difference between a sea lion and a seal, it lies in their ears. While the seals do not have ears, sea lions have small ears.

These entertaining marine mammals have a great sense of humour and amuse old and young alike with their antics and spectacular jumps and dives. Loro Parque has had enormous success in breeding this species with more than 30 young being born since we received the first arrivals. This species of marine mammal has a distribution in the wild which stretches from the Californian coast to the cold waters of Alaska.

* Dear visitors, due to renovation work, the sea lion stadium will be closed from  October 4th to 15th. Thank you for your understanding!
