Unlike other cat species are very good swimmers.

The tiger is the largest cat in the world. Although there were nine subspecies of tiger, three of them became extinct in the twentieth century. Of the 6 remaining three are critically endangered and three threatened. The biggest problem faced by this species is the dramatic reduction and degradation of their habitat, which is estimated at more than 50% in recent years. Because of its enormous size tigers require very large hunting territories, within which several females have smaller spaces that can partially overlap.
