The Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden has once again triumphed at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards, this time with recognition for its suites, whilst Loro Parque, Siam Park, Poema del Mar and Brunelli’s have achieved new milestones in animal welfare, conservation, leisure and gastronomy.

The Loro Parque Group returns to the World Travel Market in London with significant developments across all its businesses and a new collection of international accolades that reaffirm its position as one of the leading tourism brands in the Canary Islands. The company is attending this major industry event with the aim of strengthening its ties with the British market and presenting the latest developments in its projects, characterised by excellence, innovation and a constant commitment to quality.

Among the key developments is the new award won by the Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden at the prestigious Condé Nast Johansens Awards for the best suites, which on this occasion recognised the quality of the accommodation’s guest rooms.

The company’s other businesses are also attending this year’s event with significant achievements to their name. Loro Parque and Poema del Mar have renewed their animal welfare certifications awarded by the Global Humane Society; Siam Park continues to garner international accolades; and Brunelli’s has once again been included in the prestigious Michelin Guide.

The presence at the World Travel Market also represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen the organisation’s relationship with the British market, one of the main sources of tourists to the Canary Islands.

The Hotel Botánico, recognised once again by Condé Nast Johansens

The Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden has once again been ranked amongst the most outstanding establishments on the international hotel scene after receiving the Best Suite award from Condé Nast Johansens, one of the most prestigious international accolades within the luxury hotels and establishments sector.

This latest accolade takes on particular significance following the ambitious refurbishment of its guest rooms. The focus was on spaciousness, comfort and elegance. Key improvements include bathrooms clad in Italian marble, private terraces, the incorporation of cutting-edge technology and the refurbishment of the Ambassador Junior Suites, designed to offer a superior experience of relaxation and wellbeing.
The selection process combines guest reviews, public voting and assessments carried out by its international team of local experts (Local Experts), who are familiar with and visit the recommended establishments.
“Behind this recognition lies the daily work of a team committed to hospitality, personalised service and attention to every detail. From the Housekeeping and Reception departments to Maintenance, Catering, Reservations and all other areas of the hotel, every member of staff contributes to creating an experience consistent with the philosophy of a five-star luxury establishment,” says the chairman of the Loro Parque Group, Wolfgang Kiessling.

Loro Parque and Poema del Mar reaffirm their commitment to animal welfare

One of the Loro Parque Group’s key milestones has been the recertification of Loro Parque and Poema del Mar by the Global Humane Society, the world’s leading animal welfare certifying body, which attests to compliance with stringent animal welfare standards and reinforces both centres’ commitment to excellence in the care of the species in their charge.
This recognition comes at a time when the animal families at both centres have continued to grow, with births across numerous species. Furthermore, new residents have arrived, such as the two Sumatran tigers – a species classified as Critically Endangered – which have joined the Animal Embassy as part of the EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquaria) Ex situ Conservation Programme.

Siam Park remains among the world’s best parks

Siam Park has once again demonstrated its leadership in the international water leisure industry with two new accolades that highlight the quality of its facilities and the experience it offers its visitors.
The park has been honoured for the fifteenth time with the European Star Award for Europe’s Best Water Park, one of the sector’s most prestigious accolades, presented by the specialist publication Kirmes & Park Revue.

In addition to this achievement, it has received the Traveller’s Choice Best of the Best award, which ranks it amongst the top 1 per cent of theme parks worldwide according to Tripadvisor – a distinction based on visitors’ own reviews and experiences.

Brunelli’s, recommended for the fifth time in the Michelin Guide

The Loro Parque Group’s culinary excellence has once again been recognised by one of the most prestigious publications on the international culinary scene.
Brunelli’s Steakhouse has been included in the Michelin Guide for the fifth time as a recommended restaurant, consolidating its position as one of Tenerife’s leading dining destinations.
“The accolades we have received this year are the result of the effort, dedication and commitment of all the professionals who form part of the Loro Parque Group. Our philosophy has always been to strive for excellence, innovation and continuous improvement in each of our projects. We are attending the World Travel Market with pride in continuing to be an international benchmark and with the enthusiasm to keep offering unique experiences to our visitors, whilst contributing to the prestige of Tenerife and the Canary Islands as a world-class tourist destination,” concludes Kiessling.
