Since 2003, Loro Parque has been presenting the Gorilla Award, an award given to personalities and organisations that add value through scientific work, research and/or environmental responsibility.
This award celebrates the participation of leaders in any sector who promote the sustainable use of resources and the conservation of biodiversity. Universities, airlines, scientific journals… Animal and environmental protection initiatives can and should come from any business and professional environment.
The Gorilla Award is a further expression of Loro Parque’s firm commitment to environmental conservation.
